The Information Technology Division of the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement is currently seeking one full-time motivated individual with strong verbal and written communication, technical and problem-solving abilities to provide front line IT support and ensure that Change Management Process (CMP) is adhered to. Across the ITD enterprise there are approximately 1,000 applications that are in use in each of the Executive Government departments.This position is responsible for coordinating completion of the activities associated with approved change requests and ensures all change activities and documentation are included with the change record, and contributing to the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the CMP to ensure cost efficient, timely and effective services that support the corporate business strategy.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of current desktop and network operating systems such as Windows, networking protocols, Microsoft Access custom database applications, Microsoft Office custom spreadsheets and documents, electronic forms, and various custom applications used by end-users for a variety of database functions. You will also be familiar with custom built and purchased applications, enterprise database system front-end applications, terminal services/Citrix, Azure Cloud based tools, VPN technologies, remote access, mobile users, and scripting within scope of incident/problem resolution activities.

Typically, this knowledge would be obtained through a degree or certificate in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field, plus 2-3 years related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience in a Change Management role.
