Key Yorkton Kia, a member of the Key Auto Group, is accepting resumes for the full-time Parts and Service Assistant position. We are looking for an organized, customer-focused individual who contributes to operational efficiency in our Parts and Service Departments.

WHAT YOU OFFER:
The ideal Parts and Service Assistant possesses the following:
Previous experience in the automotive industry
Knowledge of inventory control practices and parts counter procedures
Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Superior organizational and time management skills
Computer and data entry skills
Ability to interpret customer needs and match with appropriate part or service

WHAT YOU DO:
The Parts and Service Assistant is responsible for:
Ordering parts accurately and in a timely manner
Receiving parts shipments and allocating to appropriate location
Adding parts to work orders upon receipt of stock
Keeping a low and accurate inventory count and reducing obsolete parts
Preparing accurate work orders that describe the vehicles problem, the repairs required, the time it takes to complete the repair and the estimated cost, broken down by labour and parts
Cultivating a positive customer experience
Performing general housekeeping to reduce clutter and maintain a safe working environment

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Parts and Service Assistants are expected to meet key performance indicators related to customer service indexes, training compliance, inventory accuracy and general housekeeping. Additionally, possessing and maintaining a valid drivers license and providing a criminal record check are conditions of employment.
