Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Seasonal Clerk/Cashier (4 Positions) from May 2 - October 6, 2025, at our Food Store Location in Emma Lake, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points though various communication channels.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility and the selling
of age restricted items relating to wine, spirits, beer, tobacco, and lottery.
Serve guests, operate point-of-sale system (POS), dispense propane when required, stock and face shelves and perform general
housekeeping duties.
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow FIFO.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
You must be 19 years of age or older; general knowledge of food and liquor store operations are considered assets.
You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
You are attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills.
You must be willing and able to obtain Serve It Right, WHMIS, and propane dispensing certifications.
You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements, standing, performing regular heavy lifting, working in cooler temperatures.
You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
