Are you passionate about dance and eager to share your skills and knowledge with others?
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Dance Teacher to join our team at Balgonie Dance & Twirl, located in the town of Balgonie, just 30 km east of Regina. We are a community-focused club offering a diverse range of dance styles for students of all ages and skill levels from pre-school to adult. If you have a strong understanding of various dance forms, exceptional teaching abilities, and are committed to inspiring and motivating students, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging dance lessons to students based on their age, level, and individual goals.
Teach a variety of dance styles which may include jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, and musical theatre.
Create and implement choreography for competitions and recital.
Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and encouragement to students to help them develop their technique, artistry, and performance skills.
Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment by enforcing dance club policies and maintaining discipline during classes.
Stay up to date with the latest dance trends, techniques, and industry developments to enhance teaching methods and curriculum.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Dance Teacher or classically trained dancer with examination qualifications.
Expertise in one or more dance styles and proficiency in teaching multiple genres.
Strong technical skills and understanding of dance theory, terminology, and proper body alignment.
Ability to demonstrate and instruct dance movements and combinations effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
