Position Overview:
As a Program Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals enrolled in Hope Restored Canada's programs. You will provide trauma-informed, compassionate support to participants, ensuring their safety, well-being, and access to resources as they navigate their journey toward holistic restoration.
Key Responsibilities:
Build trusting, respectful relationships with program participants.
Provide day-to-day support, including assistance with activities of daily living, skill-building, and emotional support.
Collaborate with Case Team to develop and implement individualized case plans.
Monitor and maintain a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment within the program facilities.
Accompany participants to appointments (e.g., medical, legal, court) as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of participant interactions and progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, sexual exploitation, or human trafficking is an asset.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed, harm reduction, and person-centered practices.
