Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, including labour relations, health and safety, and child care legislation.
Managing daily operations, including inspections, building maintenance, and documentation.
Overseeing HR functions such as recruitment, scheduling, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
Managing finances, including payroll, budgeting, parent/subsidy fees, and grant applications.
Fostering relationships with parents, local schools, and community partners.
Representing the Centre at local, provincial, and national levels through active involvement in professional associations.
Supporting practicum students, updating handbooks, and leading staff meetings.
Engaging in strategic planning with the Board of Directors and supporting fundraising and community initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role holds a Level III Certificate in Early Childhood Education and has previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting. Additional required certifications include Standard First Aid/CPR, Basic Safe Food Handling, and a valid Class 5 Drivers License.

Your ability to inspire and lead staff, manage financial operations, and cultivate strong community relationships is essential.
