Description

The Ministry of Highways is seeking candidates for summer employment as General Labourer/Flag Person for various section offices.

As a labourer/flag person in a Section crew, you will:

- Provide traffic control (e.g. flagging);
- Clean the shop;
- Assist others with culvert maintenance, crack filling and directing traffic;
- Clean up after accidents (e.g. debris, clutter, animals);
- Establish work zones and erect appropriate signs;
- Replace broken signs; and
- Paint.

To qualify for this position, you must hold a valid class 5 drivers' license. Candidates must be able to perform the duties of this position in a safe manner.
