*THIS POSITION IS IN SEDLEY, SK - 45KM East of Regina*

The Prairie Playhouse Early Learning Centre is excited to announce the opening of a brand-new Government Licensed Childcare Centre in Sedley, Saskatchewan. TPPELC is seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to the field of Early Childhood Education and will create a nurturing & stimulating environment that promotes children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development while ensuring their safety & well-being.
Responsibilities:  
-Plan & implement developmentally appropriate programming based on the play and exploration curriculum.
-Create a nurturing, inclusive, & engaging learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, & curiosity.
-Ability to adapt & respond to the individual needs & interests of each child in your care.
-Observe & assess children, documenting their developmental milestones & behaviors for ongoing evaluation.
-Build a positive & trusting relationship with children & their families, fostering a sense of safety & belonging.
-Ensure effective communication with parents, guardians, colleagues, the center director, & the community to promote high-quality childcare.
-Ensure compliance with health/safety & organizational policies.
-Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a cohesive & supportive team environment.
-To provide early learning and childcare services that align with the center's core values and philosophy.
-Maintain a clean and organized centre to ensure that children have a safe space to learn, grow, & explore.
Qualifications:
-Valid ECE Certification: Level I, II, or III (or willingness to obtain)
-Valid First Aid/CPR-C Certification
-Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal &  written.
-Experience in supporting the needs of all children
