Description

Preparing surfaces, applying stucco materials, installing wire mesh and other reinforcement materials. The technician will work on interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish.  
Key Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation-Clean and prepare surfaces to be stuccoed, ensuring they are free from debris, dust, and loose materials.
Material Mixing-Mix stucco materials, such as cement, sand, and water, to the desired consistency.
Stucco Application-Apply stucco coats to walls and ceilings using trowels, brushes, or spray guns, following specific techniques for different types of stucco finishes.
Reinforcement Installation-Install wire mesh, stucco lath, or similar materials to reinforce stucco on exterior surfaces.
Guide Wire Installation-Install guide wires to indicate the thickness of the stucco layer.
Decorative Finishes-Create decorative textures in the finish coat, using techniques such as sandblasting, pebble textures, or adding decorative aggregates.
Curing and Finishing-Cure freshly plastered surfaces and ensure proper finishing techniques to achieve a smooth and uniform finish.
Insulation Application-Apply insulation to building exteriors, potentially using prefabricated insulation systems or covering the wall with insulation board and reinforcing mesh.
Skills and Qualifications:
1.Understanding of different types of stucco, their properties, and appropriate application techniques.
2.Skill in using tools such as trowels, brushes, spray guns, and hand tools for stucco work.
3.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and working on ladders or scaffolding.
4.Ability to pay attention to detail, ensure a high-quality finish.
5.Adherence to safety protocols and procedures for working on construction sites.
6.Ability to work well with others
