We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic Saskatchewan REMS accounting team. As Accounts Payable Clerk, they will be responsible for ensuring quality client service, reliable accounts payable, maintenance of accurate records for accounting functions, vendor administration and provide support for the day-to-day operations of the accounting team.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Enter invoices into Accounting Software
- Follow up on missing purchase orders (POs) with Caretakers/Building Operators and Property Managers
- Review vendor statements and work with vendors to reconcile accounts; ensure vendors are up-to-date with WCB and insurance coverage
- Generate invoices as needed for Corporate Chargebacks
- Distribute cheques internally and externally
- Complete daily bank transactions
- Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying
- Special projects and other duties

- Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive accounts payable experience
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Experience with Yardi or other accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
