Are you passionate about doing meaningful work? Do you care about water as one of our most important resources? The Water Security Agency is seeking a Technologist to join the Approvals North team.

Reporting to a Supervisor, an employee in this job will provide technical and administrative advice and support to clients and staff specific to water resource management issues and/or related events typically within a specific geographic area of the province.  

An employee in this job will have a knowledge of current agricultural practices, strong communication and interpersonal skills.  

The duties and responsibilities will primarily focus on regulatory approvals in relation to the Agriculture Water Management Strategy and will provide technical and administrative assistance to clients and participate in the in the delivery of WSA sponsored programs.

You will work among a diverse and passionate team of professionals from various disciplines and contribute to projects that will have an impact province-wide.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma in Water Resources Engineering Technology, Agriculture, or a similar discipline and be eligible for certification with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPS) as a Professional Technologist (PTech or P.Tech).
