Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Inc. (MLMP) is the world's first successful zero-effluent-discharge market pulp mill that is a state-of-the-art, chlorine-free bleached chemi-thermo mechanical pulp (BCTMP) facility employing approximately 190 employees with annual production capacity of 420,000 ADMT.

The Gasfitter / Mechanic troubleshoots, plans, schedules, and maintains heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in the mill.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine planned, predictive and corrective maintenance on heating and HVAC systems.
Plan and schedule air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance for HVAC service provider.
Plan maintenance in conjunction with Supply Chain and Operations personnel.
Investigate new technologies with vendors.
Troubleshoot, with other mill personnel, operational and maintenance issues.
Optimize performance of equipment in collaboration with Operations and Engineering personnel to enhance mill operation.
Develop and implement reliability integrity strategies for equipment.

Qualifications:
Completion of a Journeyperson (Red Seal) ticket.
Saskatchewan General Gas Fitting license or eligibility to obtain.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Planning and scheduling experience with SAP or other enterprise business software.
Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work in a team environment.
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning journeyperson ticket.

There is an expectation of providing overtime as required to meet emergency mill needs and for scheduled mill outages. Gasfitter / Mechanic also provides routine scheduled shift coverage (shared equitability with team).

Preference will be given to qualified local and regional Saskatchewan applicants.
