Description

We are looking for a responsible and hard-working Front Load Waste Truck Driver to join our team in Saskatoon.

Main Duties:
- Drive a front-load truck to pick up and drop off bins.
- Load and unload materials safely.
- Drive on highways and gravel roads in all Saskatchewan weather (snow, rough roads, steep hills, and other hazards).
- Do pre- and post-trip inspections using an app on your phone.
- Responsible for monitoring vehicle inspection and equipment, and to advise supervisor when service is needed.
- Get your driving schedule on your phone and be familiar with Google Maps to navigate to each location.
- Use straps and tire chains to secure loads.
- Know and follow the rules and laws for operating a commercial vehicle.
- Be ready to lift or move up to 10 lbs often, 25 lbs regularly, and sometimes up to 50+ lbs.
- Good eyesight is needed: close and far vision, depth, color, and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Other Tasks:
- Deliver landscape products (ex: soil) and pick up roll-off bins.
- Get customer signatures when needed.

Requirements:
- A valid Class 1A or 3A Drivers License.
- Able to speak and understand Grade 6 level English.
- Must live in Saskatoon or nearby areas.
- Must have a reliable way to get to work (own a vehicle).
- Be reliable, on time, and ready to work hard with a good attitude.
