The Prince Albert Housing Authority has an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk on the Finance Team. If you have a background with strong analytical and mathematical skills, have a high degree of initiative and can work independently towards team goals, we have a position that will interest you!
Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer you will:
Enter accounting processes in a timely and accurate manner
Enter invoices and prepare reports for Accounts Payable cheques
Accurately enter bank transactions, maintaining records of receipts
Prepare monthly disbursement reports for the Board
Manage and apply for quarterly GST receivable refund
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and JD Edwards or similar accounting software
Knowledge of basic office procedures
Superior attention to detail with an ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide professional service to tenants and coworkers
Qualifications:
Some post-secondary classes in Accounting or Business Diploma with one to three years related work experience.
Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative, judgement and accuracy

Flexible to shifting priorities and adaptable to change.
