Description

Cumberland Villas is looking for a friendly, organized Administrative Assistant/Activities Coordinator to join our team! This full-time role combines front desk administration with planning fun and engaging activities for our residents.

Responsibilities Include:
-Serve as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and vendors at the front desk
-Manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
-Maintain resident files, reports, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
-Assist management with document preparation, filing, and other clerical tasks
-Create and distribute internal communications, and event notices
-Utilize Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, to complete administrative tasks
-Help with resident billing, data entry, supply ordering, and invoice tracking

Activities Coordination:
-Plan, schedule, and lead a variety of daily, weekly, and monthly activities and special events
-Design and distribute a monthly calendar of activities for residents.
-Coordinate outings, entertainers, guest speakers, and volunteer groups.


Qualifications:
-Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Persons Sector clearance
-Valid Class 5 Drivers License
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
-Experience in an administrative support role and/or recreation coordination preferred
-Exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
-Friendly, outgoing, and creative personality with a passion for working with seniors
-Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt in a busy environment
