DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
To be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
To provide outstanding courteous customer service.
To ensure proper meat preparation is achieved and maintained, such as traying, wrapping, and pricing to Meat Department standards.
To ensure that the fresh case, frozen case, smoked case and all spot and island merchandisers are filled and merchandised to Meat Department standards.
When assigned, to be responsible for the receiving, inspecting and storage of merchandise.
To adhere to association policies and procedures relating to the maintenance, sanitation, and safety of all association assets.
To assist in the preparation of instore made products such as sausage and hamburger patties.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with the public.
Must be available for work a variety of shifts including weekends.
Must have the desire to learn and perform duties with minimum supervision after training period has been completed
Energetic, upbeat nature
Must be bondable
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
