Description

Silver Sage is a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to providing and promoting high-quality affordable rental housing throughout southern Saskatchewan since 1983. Our mission is to assist people and communities achieve their housing goals. We are currently seeking a committed Maintenance Technician to join our team.

What we are looking for:

Accountable to perform a wide-range of housing unit maintenance and repairs (interior and exterior).   This includes, but is not limited to, painting, dry-walling, siding, windows/doors, stippling, cement work, insulation, fences, decks, and other types of renovations.    The successful candidate will: self-manage time and plan/organize work priorities; identify and/or purchase required materials and supplies; adhere to all safety related policies and procedures; provide excellent service; demonstrate flexibility; display sound judgment; have excellent interpersonal skills; and, initiative.

Qualifications
Grade XII
WHMIS and First Aid/CPR certification is an asset

Experience:
A minimum of three years of experience with respect to general building and repair of housing units
