Description

The Yellow Thunderbird Lodge-Yorkton Tribal Council Child and Family Services (YTL-YTCCFS) Inc. is seeking a Prevention Data Clerk.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Clerk, under the direction of the Director of Prevention Services, will primarily be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting data. Ensuring all internal requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
Knowledge of the FSIN Child Welfare and Family Support Act and the Provincial Child and Family Services Act. Must have experience with MICROSOFT OFFICE. Possess a typing speed of at least 45 wpm, be dependable and reliable. General knowledge of the Cree, Dakota, Nakota, Lakota and Saulteaux cultures and the political and social objectives of the YTCCFS Inc. member First Nations. Possess a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle. Display professional office manner, ability to provide leadership through encouragement, collaborations and the promotion of healthy, positive working relationships with the objective of achieving client, team and organization goals. Good interpersonal skills, effective oral, written communication skills. Ability to handle stress, ambiguity, and conflict situations. General understanding of child and family services in the YTCCFS Inc. Member First Nation communities. Experience in Data Base applications is a definite asset, assist with the prevention data, create a PPMS program booklet, and assist with dashboard monitoring, filing, scanning, coding requisitions, update and maintain website, as needed. Possess a typing speed of at least 45 wpm. Reception, answering phones, taking messages, incoming/outgoing mail, faxing, photocopying, monitoring office supplies and equipment. Provide cover off for other offices, be dependable and reliable.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma in the area of Office Administration OR Certificate in the area of Office Administration and eighteen (18) months of experience OR Grade 12 with demonstrated twenty-four (24) months office experience.
