The Ministry of Agricultures Communications Branch requires an experienced, highly-skilled and motivated multimedia communications specialist to develop, implement and evaluate videos, website content, communications strategies and materials for specific branch and program initiatives, as well as broader corporate goals.

The successful candidate will play a key role managing the ministrys website content and promoting website and digital best practices. Youll be proactive, organized, diplomatic and flexible in order to respond quickly and positively in a demanding work environment. This position will also have a branch client portfolio where you will develop multi-tactic communication strategies in support of the branch objectives.

Were looking for someone with the ability to develop, implement and evaluate communications strategies and plans that support the ministry's strategic goals; You will research, create and edit a variety of communications materials, including communications strategies, website content, videos news releases, speeches and publications.

Typically, the knowledge for this position would be obtained through a degree or diploma in Journalism, Marketing, Digital Communications, Multi-media, or Communications (or a related area), and/or relevant experience. Experience and/or knowledge of the agricultural industry would also be an asset.
