The Information Technology Division (ITD) is expanding the Information Security Branch, which coordinates and manages Information Technology Operations (ITO) security for the Government of Saskatchewan.
We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity leader to join our team. As the Manager of Cybersecurity, you will oversee the execution and delivery of our Cyber Security Maturity Program (CSMP), safeguarding our technology and information assets while leading a skilled team of cybersecurity professionals. Your expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and governance will be crucial in shaping our security posture to pre-empt and counter evolving threats. If you are a visionary leader with a proven history of success in cybersecurity, we invite you to play a pivotal role in securing our digital landscape.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with and advise senior government executives on security matters, as well as lead teams involving multiple ministries and external resources.
As our successful candidate, you will be a results-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be obtained through the completion of a degree in computer science or a related discipline or a designation as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or another related designation.
