Now Hiring Experienced Event Managers for Busy Catering Company- EXCELLENT PAY!
PickNics Catering is excited to offer the following position for 3 Select candidates for our busy event season (May-December)
Excellent Pay Offered!  Competitive Wage Plus Shift Bonuses and Gratuities equate to between $200-300 per event!
Shifts offered are a large majority Saturday evenings (mostly weddings), with some Thursday and Friday evenings, and the occasional Daytime shift.    If you are predominantly busy Saturday evenings (weekends at the lake, busy with another job), this position would not be suitable for you.
Duties of the Role:
*Starting at our Headquarters, brief with Catering Manager all details of the Event.
*Work with serving staff to load out all elements of the event Food, Beverages, Serving Equipment, Dish Rentals etc
*Drive catering vans to Events.  
*Lead the Team onsite to unload vans and Set Up Event (Buffet line, beverage station, dish rentals etc)
*Communicate any timing or other details with the Onsite Contact as assigned by Client
*Manage All Event details to the Clients best interest, based on all information in our Paperwork plus any needs that may arise onsite.
*Assign team to various roles onsite.
*Oversee Management of the distribution of Dietary Meals
*Clean up and Tear down of event
*Return to Headquarters, Manage Return of service items to correct locations in our shop, manage excess foods to correct locations, communicate any event details to management. Lock up shop following proper procedures.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
Valid Drivers License
Excellent English
Ability to Lead and Supervise up to 10 Servers
Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs
Extensive Proven Event/Catering/Foodservice Experience
Have a Professional and Tidy Appearance
Punctual and Efficient
Calm, Organized, Friendly, Approachable
