Key Auto Group is seeking a skilled Controller to oversee the financial records of its group of companies. Members of the Key Auto Group include Key Collision Centre, Key Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC, Yorkton Toyota, Key Yorkton Kia, Swan River's Key Chevrolet Buick GMC, Yorkton Cap-It and Auto Hire Rent-A-Car.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records across the Key Auto Group, the Controller oversees financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that each store and the group maintain clean, audit-ready financials.

JOB PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
*Accurate monthly and annual financial statements delivered on schedule
*All reconciliations completed monthly without discrepancies
*Compliance with tax laws and OEM financial reporting requirements
*Internal audits completed with minimal findings
*Timely submission of payroll, tax remittances and regulatory filings
*Consistent improvement in financial reporting accuracy and efficiency

REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal Controller possesses the following:
*Post-secondary education in a field related to financial management
*Thorough understanding of financial reporting requirements, accounting principles and auditing standards
*Clear, concise and confident communication skills
*Systematic problem-solving and critical thinking skills
*Strong leadership and mentorship skills
*The ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines
*The ability to interpret financial data and communicate implications to the Senior Leadership Team
*Demonstrated competency in compliance, accuracy, leadership, accountability, analytical thinking and process management
