Reporting to the MCHC Health Director, the Jordan Principle Service Coordinator will work collaboratively with Muskoday First Nation departments, such as the daycare, school, etc., and across different jurisdictions of government to develop solutions to provide immediate support to children and their families during times of need.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proposal-writing and program management.
- Develop rapport with families and advocate for their interests.
- Experience collaborating with funders.
- Strong analytical skills, logistics coordination, and multi-tasking ability.
- Identifying and lessening the impact of systemic barriers on children and their families.
- Effective partnership outsourcing with internal departments within Muskoday First Nation.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate community consultations and engagement sessions.
- Effective progressive case planning and service coordination.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor?s degree or a minimum, 3 ? 5 years experience in the related field may also be considered.
- Experience consulting with funders.
- Experience identifying and mitigating the impact of systemic barriers on children and their families.
- Effective case planning and service coordination experience.
- Strong understanding of collective impact and the accompanying nuances of different mandates, visions, and directives involved in multi-sector collaboration.
OTHER CONDITIONS
- Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am ? 12:30 pm/1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
- Must provide a current, original, Canadian Criminal Record Check (CPIC) and Vulnerable Sector Check as a condition of employment.
- Must possess a valid Saskatchewan. driver?s license, a reliable vehicle, and meet MFN?s insurance requirements.
- Must provide a three-year driver?s abstract as a condition of employment.
