Description

Duties and Responsibilities
- General labourer
- Street and sidewalk repair and maintenance
- Littered garbage collection and disposal
- Maintenance of grounds on town-owned property, including cutting grass, weeding and pruning trees
- Miscellaneous painting
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be between the ages of 15 & 30
- Must be returning to school in the fall
- Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License is an asset
- Previous experience operating motorized mechanical equipment, including tractors, mowers and trucks is an asset
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy manual labour
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment and to conduct business in a professional manner
- Ability to complete tasks in a safe and effective manner
- Ability to accept, comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

Supervision/Training:
- Will be trained on safety and the operation of equipment.
- Supervision will be under the guidance of the Public Works Operator.
