Description

The Property Management team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Building Operator in Saskatoon.

As an important member of our service-oriented team, you will be responsible for providing customer comfort and service by ensuring a safe environment to our customers and clients. You will respond to client requests and ensure facilities and equipment are safe and in good operating readiness. You will also perform routine maintenance.

The successful candidate will have the ability to supervise staff, work independently and as a team member, prioritize work, perform maintenance procedures on buildings and grounds, understand and correctly apply cleaning and maintenance standards, safely operate and maintain equipment.
This position is also responsible for ensuring compliance with ministry safety standards and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Employment Standards.

We are looking for a problem solver and a leader with proven ability and interest in supervising employees and performing maintenance procedures. The ideal candidate will bring a 5th Class Engineers Certification or Firemans Certification and Refrigeration Engineer Certificate as well as at least two years experience in building maintenance, heating, cooling and ventilation systems. Experience in DDC controls would be an asset and a valid drivers license is required.

- General building repair and maintenance knowledge;
- Knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools, principles and practices related to building maintenance; and
- Be able to work in physically demanding conditions.
