Kanuka Thuringer LLP is seeking a legal assistant for our Corporate Services department. This position provides comprehensive services regarding the formation and ongoing compliance of corporations and other business structures including annual returns and corporate record maintenance.
A successful candidate will be a team professional with strong organizational skills who is attentive to detail, adaptable, and self-motivated. Applicants will also have strong computer and Microsoft Office skills, an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Spelling, grammar and proofreading skills are essential for this position.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
-preparation of legal documents and letters from existing precedents
-maintaining an electronic database (ALF) and paper filing systems (DM).
-utilizing ISC and filing via ISC Corporate Registry
-diary and file management
-effective communication with clients, lawyers, and other law firms.
