OnTask Rehab Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will support clients in returning to work or exploring new vocational options following injury, illness, or disability. This role involves developing individualized return-to-work and vocational rehabilitation plans, providing job search services and liaising with employers, healthcare providers, and insurers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized return-to-work (RTW), graduated-return-to-work (GRTW) or vocational rehabilitation plans.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and insurers to coordinate services and ensure effective client outcomes.
Provide job search coaching.
Maintain accurate, professional case notes and prepare formal written reports in line with program or legal standards.
Monitor client progress, provide ongoing support, and revise plans as needed.
Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines in vocational rehabilitation.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Rehabilitation, Psychology, Social Work, Kinesiology, Education, or a related field.
Certification as a Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP), Registered Vocational Professional (RVP), Return to Work Disability Manager (RTWDM), and/or Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP) is required.
3-5 years experience in vocational rehabilitation, disability management, or related fields.
Familiarity with return-to-work legislation and labour market trends in Saskatchewan.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems.
Valid drivers license and ability to travel within the region (if required).
