Our childcare centre is almost a reality!  Our board has been enthusiastically working toward the opening day, and we are ready to take the next step in the creation of the centre, were ready to hire our Director!  

Fun-loving, tenacious, positive, structured, adventurous, uplifting, and collaborative are all words that describe you.  Our ideal candidate will have a natural ability to lead and build a positive, and skilled team.  They will possess a natural tendency to mingle with many generations, offering those around them a sense of belonging and purpose.  Together with their team, and under the direction of the Board of Directors the Director will create and ensure programing at the centre is fun, educational, and fulfilling.  

The Director position will commence early October and will be required to complete many administrative tasks in preparation for opening day.  They will be responsible for day to day operations and to ensure the centre is adequately equipped and staffed.  As the Director, you will create the Parent Handbook and Staff Handbook, and ensure policy and procedures are in place prior to opening day.  You will embrace our values, while fulfilling our mission; to provide an accessible and nurturing childcare environment that fosters the growth and development of every child in our care.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a childcare centre with at least two to four years of job-related experience.  They have also obtained their Early Childhood Educator 3 certification and hold a valid CPR First Aid Certificate. A clear Criminal Record Check along with the Vulnerable sector check is also required.  Should the ideal candidate not hold all levels of required training and education, our board is committed to supporting the ideal candidate, in achieving the required certification.  Your commitment to lifelong learning aligns with ours!
