Qualifications:
The Practical Nursing Instructor should bring the following qualifications to this position:
-Bachelors Degree in Nursing or a directly related field. All nursing courses must be taught by someone who holds a BScN, BN or a master's in nursing.
-Eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan
-Minimum two years recent and relevant clinical or teaching experience in the specialty area to be taught.
-Effective interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal and presentation.
-Ability to apply the theory, practices and principles of nursing and adult learning.
-Small group facilitation skills and leading, modeling and teaching interaction skills.
