Living Skies Housing Authority (LSHA) is hiring a full time Payroll Clerk to join their Finance and Business Operations team. The position reports to the Accounting & Payroll Manager for direction and supervision and follows established procedures to process payroll for multiple Housing Authorities in the Saskatchewan housing network.
What You Will Do:
-Provide front line payroll support to stakeholders
-Ensure regulatory requirement are met
-Complete benefit remittances and general ledger transactions related to payroll
-Track employee leaves including salary continuance, long term disability, WCB, garnishments, etc.
-Maintain digital employee payroll and personnel files
What you will need:
-Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation or the equivalent.
-One (1) to three (3) years of experience within the payroll field.
-Proficiency in a computerized environment and the MicroSoft suite of products
-Proven knowledge of payroll principles and practices.
-Superior attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
-Ability to work within established processes, independently and harmoniously with team members, often with minimal guidance and direction.
