Operations Manager
Reports to: Director of Infrastructure and Public Works
Department: Infrastructure and Public Works

The R.M. of Corman Park is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for our infrastructure and public works. Reporting to the Director, youll manage key programs and projects, drive process improvements, and ensure safe, efficient service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and direct staff across multiple infrastructure and public works programs

Oversee field operations, water systems, and key programs (e.g., Roadway Graveling, Construction, Dust Control)

Manage budgets, resource allocation, and procurement

Ensure regulatory and OH&S compliance; promote a culture of safety

Prepare reports for Council and serve as a key liaison with leadership

Identify and implement operational improvements

Core Competencies:

Strategic planning, change management, cross-functional leadership

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Customer service orientation and adaptability

Technical proficiency (Microsoft Office) and commitment to continuous learning

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required; Masters an asset

5+ years in senior leadership in municipal operations, maintenance, and construction

Proven project management and asset management experience

Valid class 5 drivers license
