Living Sky School Division is looking for a Superintendent of Learning to join the Senior Leadership Team beginning August 1, 2025.  

We are seeking a visionary system leader with a passion for inclusion, innovation, and building leadership capacity across schools.  The greatest responsibility (mandate) of a superintendent in our division is to ensure system effectiveness and lead system change. This strategic role focuses on system-wide service delivery, leadership development, and equitable, forward-thinking practices. Candidates should bring senior administrative experience, a background in inclusive education, and a collaborative, courageous mindset.

Living Sky School Division

Living Sky is a progressive and innovative school division that employs over 800 professional and support staff.  It offers a wide variety of programs and services to approximately 5,500 students.  The division's 28 schools are in 19 communities located throughout west central Saskatchewan.  The main office is in the city of North Battleford.  North Battleford serves as a local center for health, retail, education and commercial services.  The city offers easy access to several beautiful lakes, and together with the town of Battleford, is home to about 18,000 people.

The school division is reinventing itself for the future and transitioning to a new organizational structure and way of operating (processes and culture).  This is a major change for the organization and a shift from the way a typical school division operates.  This shift will continue over the next few years and will require people who are dedicated to the journey to make it happen!
