Description

Leading Thunderbird Lodge is a residential youth treatment centre located in the Village of Fort San near the Town of Fort Qu'Appelle.  The Lodge is seeking a reliable, self-motivated and organized individual to join their team in the full-time position of Maintenance Technician.

This position is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance and repair of the Lodge's buildings, grounds and equipment.  Knowledge and experience working with heating and cooling systems, boilers, water treatment, alarm systems, is necessary.  Participation on the OH&S Committee is also expected.

Applicants should have a Grade 12, basic computer skills and with a minimum of two years of experience working in this capacity.  A valid driver's license and acceptable criminal record check with vulnerable sector search is also required.  Applicants should possess the following certificates or (be willing to take):
-Boiler
-Fireman
-Water Treatment

Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical and welding skills are also an asset.  Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are also necessary in this position.
