Description

Duties Include
- Pick orders and prepare shipments in accordance with packing slip. Ensure accurate, complete shipments are ready for delivery at the appropriate time.
- Schedule outgoing shipments. Prepare shipping documents.
- Load/unload goods from delivery vehicles. May involve use of forklift or other equipment.
- Unpack and verify incoming shipments against invoices and packing slips. Record shortages. Prepare labels.
- Stock the Parts Warehouse and Showroom.
- Keep Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Showroom, and Parts areas of yard clean and organized.
- Complete daily forklift log. Maintain safe working conditions.
- Other duties as requested.

Qualifications required:
- Accuracy is VERY important. Must be detail oriented and organized.
- Must have strong English verbal and written skills to communicate with coworkers, delivery staff, and customers.
- Meet physical requirements of position: lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, standing for extended periods on concrete floors, and walking. You will also operate forklifts and use ladders.
- Previous experience in Shipping/Receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
- Able to self-manage and organize projects according to priority and required timelines.
- Able to work with interruptions.
- Forklift experience. Forklift certificate preferred. You will be required to become certified if hired.
- Strong commitment to health and safety. First Aid training and WHMIS would be an asset.
- Able to handle paperwork.
- Basic math skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Able to learn our inventory software.
- Valid drivers license.
- Consistent availability Mon. through Fri.
