We are seeking a talented Design & SketchUp Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, proficiency in SketchUp software, and the ability to follow design direction while also sourcing materials for interior design projects. This role plays a vital part in the creative process, bringing concepts to life through 3D modeling and material selection.
Key Responsibilities
Create high-quality 3D models using SketchUp to visualize design concepts.
Work closely with the president and projects team to translate ideas into accurate and functional renderings.
Follow design direction and adapt models based on feedback.
Source and recommend materials, finishes, and furnishings to align with project goals.
Assist in interior design decision-making by researching trends, suppliers, and sustainable options.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless execution.
Maintain an organized digital library of design assets and materials.
Qualifications & Skills
Proficiency in SketchUp is required; experience with rendering software is a plus.
Strong understanding of interior design principles and material selection.
Ability to interpret design briefs and produce compelling 3D visualizations.
Detail-oriented with a passion for aesthetics and functionality.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
Knowledge of other design software (AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign) is an asset but not required.
