Are you ready to take your DBA skills to a Senior level?   As a valued member of the IT Team, you will ensure the successful support, maintenance, performance, security, and recoverability of all highly transactional databases throughout Canada and the USA, serving countries throughout the world. Responsibilities include:
- Manage and optimize database systems, ensuring data integrity and availability.   Investigate and troubleshoot issues, automate tasks to improve efficiency and perform routine configuration.
- Oversee database standards, responsibilities, and methodology, manage research and development projects, and work along high-performing colleagues.
- Design, code, and test complex programs and integration software services.   Apply controls and procedures to develop and implement requests for change.  

You will bring:
- 8+ years of relevant DBA experience.  Progressive experience in an Oracle database administration (DBA) role.
- Strong Oracle DBA skills and experience, supported by in-depth knowledge of database server operating systems.
- SQL DBA is an asset.  
- Unix/Linux scripting language ability.  
- Familiarity with the fundamental principles of ITIL and experience working with/troubleshooting Oracle, DB2 and SQL databases in an enterprise corporate environment
- Positive, motivated personality with strong teamwork, communications and interpersonal skills.
- Above average analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by a strong attention to detail.
