Description

The Regina Early Learning Centre (RELC) is a non profit that provides programs that support families to nurture the healthy development of children prenatal to age five.  RELC requires an experienced counsellor to support the Regina Perinatal Health Network (RPHN) and other agency programs. The successful candidate will work within a trauma informed, solution-focused approach to provide perinatal mental health services.

This is a hybrid position with online sessions to launch and the possibility of future in-person delivery. The contractor will make a minimum of 5 session available each week (including one evening); be adaptable in approach, well-organized, and proficient in time management, workload prioritization, and self-directed work planning. RELC will provide client referrals, administration support, access to Jane software for session bookings and case management, and clinical supervision. While the RPHN has ongoing participants, there is not a guaranteed caseload. The contractor rate is to be negotiated and is dependent upon qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS:
Registered Social Worker or Registered Psychologist (Masters preferred)
Member in good standing with a professional association in Saskatchewan
Experience in the perinatal mental health field
Experience and commitment to social justice and working with diverse, underserved communities
Must provide documentation of liability insurance and current criminal record/vulnerable sector check
Must provide own computer and reliable internet connection
Must be legally able to work in Canada for the contract duration
Minimum of two years experience with demonstrated knowledge and professional practice skills in frontline services including case management, counselling or clinical services, program management, and/or brief service/crisis intervention
Familiarity with a wide variety of evidenced based therapeutic modalities
