Littlebone, SK is located Twelve miles south of Yorkton between The Leech and Crescent lakes.

Position Summary:
The Custodian is responsible for ensuring the Chief Little Bone Community Centre is clean, safe, and welcoming for all community members. This includes daily cleaning duties, basic repairs and maintenance, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting the overall care of the building, including maintaining outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment and respects the importance of a shared community space that hosts events, gatherings, cultural activities, and youth programs.
Qualifications and Skills:
    Experience in janitorial or custodial work is an asset.
    Physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing cleaning tasks for extended periods.
    Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
    Ability to work independently and follow a cleaning schedule.
    Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
    Willingness to follow safety procedures and community health protocols.
    Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Check may be required).
    Understanding of or openness to First Nation culture, language, and community values.
    Must be willing to submit a drug test upon request.

Working Conditions:
    Evening or weekend shifts may be required based on community events.
    Work is physically demanding and may involve exposure to harsh/hazardous cleaning products.
    May interact with Elders, youth, families, and staff regularly.
