Description

Littlebone, SK Twelve miles south of Yorkton between The Leech and crescent lakes.
Position Summary:
The Office Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Chief Littlebone Community Centre. This position handles administrative tasks, scheduling, communication, and record-keeping to ensure programs, rentals, and events run smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, people-friendly, and passionate about serving their community in a respectful and welcoming environment.

Administrative Support:
    Adhere to the Zagime Anishinabek HR Policy and Procedures Manual and all other applicable Zagime Anishinabek Policies.
    Greet visitors and answer calls/emails in a friendly, timely and professional manner.
    Maintain a clean, organized front office area.
    Schedule bookings for the community centre, including programs, events, and rentals.
    Maintain an updated events calendar and assist with promotional materials (posters, flyers, social media updates).
    Provide support to staff and program coordinators with copying, printing, and distributing materials.
    Keep accurate records, including attendance, visitor logs, and supply usage and inventories.
    Submit supply orders within budget allocations and track deliveries for office and facility needs.
    Provide and report any incidents that may occur in a timely manner.
Community & Program Coordination:
    Assist with organizing and promoting community programs, events, and cultural gatherings.
    Communicate with community members, Elders, youth, and outside groups regarding centre usage.
    High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certificates are an asset.
    Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector Check if required).
    Knowledge of or willingness to learn about First Nation culture, values, and language.
    Must be willing to submit a drug test upon request.
Work Conditions:
    Mostly office-based work, with occasional evening/weekend.
