Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part-Time Gas Bar Clerk (2 Positions) at our C-Store/Gas Bar location in Wakaw, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Provide in-store and pump island service; serve guests, dispense fuel, operate the point-of-sale system (POS), stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times.
Prepare food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
Monitor product in food preparation area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply.
Receive, price and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

You have experience with food preparation and Food Safety or are willing to learn.
You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements, standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
You have POS system experience and can work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
You must be willing and able obtain WHMIS, propane dispensing certifications.
