Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Clerk/Cashier  Wine, Spirits and Beer Focus at our C-Store/Gas Bar location in Wakaw, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to wine, spirits, beer, tobacco, fireworks.
Maintain a clean and well merchandised area including dusting displays, washing shelves and bottles, sweeping, mopping. Exterior cleaning as needed.
Stock, arrange and rotate liquor merchandise on shelves, stock beer coolers and set up displays. Stocking shelves may involve carrying large quantities of wine, spirits, and beer; and involves accessing products in the back-room storage area.
Operate point of sales system (POS) and other electronic devices and process sales.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

You must be 19 years of age or older; retail liquor industry sales experience is considered an asset.

You have POS system experience and can work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements, standing, performing regular heavy lifting, working in cooler temperatures.
You are attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills.
You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
