Description

The File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services to 11 First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory.  The position will work as part of the All Nations Healing Hospital and Health Services team, based at the All Nations Healing Hospital located in Fort QuAppelle, SK.  

Reporting to the Executive Director and/or designate, the Human Resources Manager plays a critical role in managing and facilitating the Human Resource functions for the All Nations Healing Hospital. This position is responsible for providing leadership in employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, labor relations, employee development, and policy development. This position also leads the Administrative Information Management System.

Qualifications:
    Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or equivalent designation is preferred.
    Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in a unionized environment.
    Experience in healthcare or a related industry is an asset.
    Sound knowledge of labor laws, employment standards, and collective bargaining processes.
    Proven ability to work effectively with unions and manage labor relations.
    Exceptional knowledge and experience in the interpretation of collective agreements
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
    Demonstrated conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team based working environment
    Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work within First Nations Traditional and Spiritual Institutes.
    Valid class 5 license and clean criminal record check required
