Description

Rooted Connections is hiring an Interim Executive Director for a 12-month term to guide the organization through a period of transition and growth. This strategic leadership role offers an opportunity to align programs, operations, and partnerships in support of our mission to foster healing, stability, and wholeness in the lives of individuals and families.

Job-Specific Skills
-Strategic Leadership: Ability to set vision and long-term priorities, drive execution of strategic plans, and lead cross-functional collaboration.
-Financial Management: Proficiency in budgeting, financial forecasting, and analyzing financial reports to ensure accountability and sustainability.
-Program Development and Evaluation: Ability to design, implement, and assess programs for impact, quality, and alignment with community needs.
-Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled at building relationships with government, funders, and community partners to advance organizational goals.
-Board Governance: Experience in working with and supporting a Board of Directors, including preparation of reports, strategic input, and alignment with bylaws.
-Change Management: Proven ability to guide teams through transition, manage risk, and foster a resilient and adaptable culture.
-Human Resource Leadership: Competence in talent management, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, and creating psychologically safe work environments.
-Data and Impact Reporting: Ability to interpret data and KPIs to support decision-making and report on outcomes to funders and stakeholders.
-Communications and Advocacy: Strong written and verbal communication skills to represent the organization publicly and advocate for systemic change.

We are seeking candidates with strong leadership and change management experience in the nonprofit or human services sectors, as well as a demonstrated commitment to cultural inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.
