Title:    Cook/Housekeeper, TLC Daycare Inc.  
Reports to:    Co-Directors, TLC Daycare Inc.

Job Summary:
The TLC Daycare Inc. is looking for a Cook/Housekeeper that will be responsible for menu planning, purchasing of groceries and supplies, general housekeeping duties, daily preparation of nutritious meals and snacks serving up to 54 children and staff.  The kitchen is to be managed and conducted in strict compliance with Ministry of Health regulations, and all other applicable legislation. The Cook works in consultation with the centre's Co-Directors to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and its coordination with the other programs of the centre.
Interested applicants should possess basic food handling and preparation skills. A current Food Safe course would be preferred; **however we are willing to train**. Applicants will also need to have or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR and a Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check.
