Reporting to the Director of Policy, the Senior Policy Consultant works with a high level of independence conducting research, providing analysis and advice, and making recommendations on policy issues in the Saskatchewan gaming sector. They will be responsible for conducting complex strategic, public policy, and economic analysis on a wide range of gaming issues including gaming and responsible gambling trends, issues, and developments in Canada and internationally. This person will play a key role in providing policy advice and analysis critical to the development of the province's gaming strategy.

Typically, the knowledge and skills for this position are gained through post-secondary education in the social sciences, public policy or a related field. The successful candidate will have a background in policy development, the ability to derive insights from research, think strategically, and develop evidence-based advice. Proficiency in data analysis is an asset for this position.
You must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming Employee Certificate of Registration and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
