Description

The Moose Jaw Housing Authority requires one(1) temporary full-time Maintenance Worker with duties to commence as soon as possible.  This is a full-time term position with the possibility of extension.

The purpose of this position is to assist in the upkeep of all grounds and buildings managed by the Moose Jaw Housing Authority.

Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Position Requisites:
-High School or post secondary graduate.
-General knowledge of groundskeeping techniques, safe equipment operation and janitorial duties.
-Knowledge and/or experience in working with seniors and/or typical tenants.
-Work effectively in a team-based environment.
-Be able to walk from the 1st to the 16th floor in any MJHA building.
-Be able to lift 35.0 kg several times daily.
-Be able to walk a minimum of 5 km daily.
* the above physical requirement will be tested on a periodic basis.
-Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle for daily use.
