Sask DLC requires a permanent, full-time, Artificial Intelligence Coach (teacher on assignment), for the 2025-26 school year, with teaching position to be determined for the 2026-27 year and beyond based on current teaching assignment, educational background or training, and experience. The position will commence on August 25, 2025. The campus location will be determined by the principal residence of the successful candidate.
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Student Programming, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Coach is responsible for the leadership, finalization, and implementation of the Sask DLC AI Policy and the Academic Integrity Policy. This role involves significant collaboration with the AI Committee. This role supports teachers, students, and staff through professional learning initiatives, development of AI-supported Sask DLC operational and educational efficiencies, and ensures alignment with the Sask DLC Assessment, Grading, and Communication Framework Principles. The AI Coach promotes ethical, transparent, and effective AI integration that upholds academic integrity, supports personalized learning, and enhances instructional practices across Sask DLC.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the Implementation of AI and Academic Integrity Policy
* Finalize and operationalize Sask DLCs AI and Academic Integrity Policies.
* Provide coaching and support to ensure adherence to ethical and responsible AI use.
* Collaborate with staff to ensure AI integration aligns with student privacy, academic honesty, and transparency expectations.
* Document an AI work plan for Sask DLC.
Professional Learning and Capacity Building
* Design and facilitate professional development on AI literacy, AI ethics, and academic integrity.
* Deliver training on responsible AI use, including how to design AI-resilient assignments and recognize AI misuse.
