Ecological Vegetable and Livestock farm apprentice
Grovenland Farm near Lanigan and Drake SK
This job is part of an apprenticeship program through Young Agrarians which provides extra support through a coordinator, farm tours, and networking.
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:
Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or Refugee Status
Full drivers license
This job has subsidy requirements that require Canadian permanent residency and the applicant has to be between the ages of 18-30.
Starting wage is $16.50/hr
Room and Board provided and included (camper trailer on the farm)
Skill required:
A willingness and ability to do physical labour (ie: lifting buckets of feed).
All weather clothing and work clothes are needed.
Steel-toed boots are an asset but not required.
Applicants need to be between the age of 18-30 and a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Refugee Status.
Valid class 5 driver's license
Own vehicle is best
May to early October
5 days/week, typically Monday-Friday, 40 hour weeks. Some weekends
