Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Director of Corporate Services provides strategic and administrative leadership across the organization. The EDCS is a collaborative leader who demonstrates a commitment to a positive workplace, supports staff learning and development, is effective in developing and sustaining partnerships with stakeholders and partners, provides advice to executives and elected officials on complex issues.

The EDCS provides leadership and oversight for the Corporate Services functions of Finance, Procurement, HR, Communications, IT and Facilities in accordance with the Agencys strategic plan. Monitoring and evaluation of performance, compliance with legislation with respect to financial accountability, and stewardship of the Agencys funds and assets, health and safety, and employment standards are key responsibilities of this role.

Ideal Candidate:
    Business or Masters degree in commerce, public or business administration, or related field.
    Professional accounting designations: Certified Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Human Resources Professional would be considered an asset.
    10+ years in an operational or executive leadership position in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
    Related work experience and familiarity with the Saskatchewan health care system and/or the Government of Saskatchewan is an asset.
    Excellent written and oral communication skills
    A strong understanding of business case proposals, public policy development, government processes and protocols, including financial administration
