- Personal Care Homes are governed by Sask. Health's operations procedures and Licensee Handbook.
- Manage and administer the operations and activities of the designated procedures as outlined in Policy and procedure Manuals.
- The postion requires a reliable conscientious person capable of providing quality care for seniors, while providing a safe and comfortable home-like environment.
- Direst and advise all staff in following the Canada Food Guide, Safe food handling and preparation of the meals according to the menu plan.
- Includes working 2 or 3 12 hour shifts per week. On-going day to day training and observing staff duties.
- Plan, administer and control budgets for programs, (Entertainment) equipment and support services (Groceries).
- Previous experience working with seniors and having the mandatory certificates.
-Must have the ability to make choices, decisions and act in the residents and managements best ineterest.
-The ability to provide leadership to residents and fellow staff members, maintaining a positive role model for all staff.
-Direct and advise staff in maintaining a clean and organized care home.
